Salesforce to HubSpot Migration and Onboarding

Vested provided ParFab with a comprehensive path to success by thoroughly assessing their Salesforce infrastructure, determining the essential objectives, streamlining data for transition into HubSpot's platform, and training personnel on how to maximize HubSpot tools for growth and optimal customer satisfaction.

Auditing Salesforce is a crucial step in preparing for a data migration. The audit process involves reviewing all data within Salesforce to ensure that it is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. This includes:

By conducting a thorough audit prior to the migration, businesses can identify any potential issues or challenges that may arise during the transfer process and take steps to address them proactively. This helps ensure that all data is accurately transferred to the new system and minimizes the risk of data loss or corruption. 2. Identify ParFab’s Business Requirements

Before beginning the migration process, we met with the ParFab stakeholders to understand their business needs and goals. This helped us determine which data should be migrated and how it should be organized within HubSpot.

3. Prepare the Data for Migration 

Working with ParFab, we cleaned up duplicates or inconsistencies in the data, as well as exported the data from Salesforce in a format that is compatible with HubSpot.

4. Set Up HubSpot

After preparing the data, we set up the HubSpot account and configured it according to their business needs. This included setting up custom fields, creating workflows, and integrating with other tools such as social media platforms.

5. Migrate the Data

Using the SFDC, we then mapped the fields accordingly and synced the data over to HubSpot using a one way push.

Once the data migrated, we tested and validated that everything was transferred correctly. This included running reports to ensure numbers were adding up correctly and doing popcorn checks throughout different records.

7. Train Users

Finally, we trained all teams that would be utilizing the tool including the finance team, sales team, estimating team, and leadership team.

Google Sheets Integration

Vested was able to streamline ParFab's operations with a comprehensive workflow solution. Using the HubSpot Marketplace to install Google Sheets and Zapier connections, we created automated triggers that could be activated when certain conditions were met - creating an intuitive platform for data tracking and management.

The HubSpot-Google Sheets connector provides businesses with a powerful tool for integrating data between two of their most important systems, streamlining workflows, and improving overall efficiency.

1. Installation and Setup

The first step in using the connector was to install it within ParFab's HubSpot and Google Sheets accounts. 

2. Data Synchronization

Once the connector was set up, data was automatically synced between HubSpot and Google Sheets in real-time or on a scheduled basis. This includes syncing contacts, leads, opportunities, and other relevant data fields.

3. Customizable Mapping

The connector allows for customizable mapping of data fields between HubSpot and Google Sheets, enabling businesses to tailor the integration to their unique needs.

4. Bi-directional Syncing

With the connector in place, data can be synced bi-directionally between HubSpot and Google Sheets, ensuring that both systems always have access to the most up-to-date information.

5. Automation

Finally, integrations enable businesses to automate tasks that would otherwise require manual effort. For example, when a new lead is created in HubSpot, an automated workflow could trigger actions such as adding that lead's information to a designated sheet in Google Sheets.
